ESPN Predicts Bronny James' Future In 2024 NBA Draft

With the NBA Draft lottery over and teams now know where they are picking, all the attention now shifts to the prospects and where they might end up going. Sure enough, one of the most popular names in the 2024 class is Bronny James, with talks about his destination expected to intensify moving forward.

Interestingly, though, there are still massive doubts whether or not the son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is ready for the NBA.

In the latest NBA mock draft by ESPN published after the draft lottery, Bronny's name is noticeably missing from the list. This suggests that ESPN either believes he's going undrafted or he's not expected to push through the draft and return to college instead.

It's worth noting that ESPN previously removed Bronny from their past 2024 mock draft due to the belief that he's returning to play college ball for another season. While Bronny has since declared for the NBA Draft, he's also retaining his college eligibility as he weighs his options.

The Lakers have been mentioned as a potential destination for Bronny, with many believing that the Purple and Gold would take him in order to convince James to stay in LA. The Lakers own the 17th and 55th overall picks in the 2024 draft, but they are projected by ESPN to take Jared McCain and Jamal Shead, respectively.

It remains to be seen what will happen to Bronny James, though many eyes will certainly be on him as fans await the next step in his career.
