Underrated (adjective): /ˌəndəˈrādəd/ - Not rated or valued highly enough. Used to describe a piece of artistic expression that wasn't critically well-received but that a person believes deserves higher praise. It does not mean that a movie isn't well-known.

Man, it’s good for about two thirds.

Approximately from when Rosie needs “to clean up” it falls apart, albeit with some good scenes dotted here and there and the acting- apart from Jussie Smollett- is solid throughout. It does have the abysmal tacked on bug hunt, however, which is simply not good.

Nope. Not underrated. Like Prometheus before it the entire plot hinges on supposedly really smart people making astoundingly stupid decisions and to reduce the Xenomorph to the creation of a half-mad android?

Fuck this film. Its single redeeming feature is the soundtrack.
