I just want paratroopers. I barely knew this game when they were around. Seems they really want more people to have the armoured soviet assault engys tho

It wouldn't of matter that squad wasn't going to be on a sale price, not all the stuff was on sale to begin with
The infantry squads seem alright, if a bit small, the tempest is a bit too expensive but a really good plane, i would say it is tied for the best allied fighter, depends in you like the 8 HVARs or the 500lb bombs more.
i have the tempest, it’s amazing in every way, the price is very steep, but if you enjoy flying planes and would like to add it into your rotation of planes it absolutely can be your main plane for the long haul.
250kg > 500lb

250kg is actually 550lb, plus the british 500lbs are kinda bad, they have about the same blast wave radius (the area where tanks die) as the japanese 100kg bombs, and less HE pen.
Also the American 500lb has a slightly larger blast wave than the german 250kg, but the german 250kg has a lot more fragments meaning they are better at anti-infantry.
I think the UD42 and SKS-31 squads are cool. But, unfortunately too expensive for me to take the plunge.

The SKS-31 squad can equip berlin cosmetics for stalingrad and moscow

I hate bolt actions lol I still get plenty of kills but I’ve never liked snipers or bolt actions much
Snipers in this game are nicer than bolt actions to me cuz of the scope lol although bolt actions are def better overall I’d say

You’ll notice at first the kick on soviet semis are a little annoying at first but they are fun to use
Only bonus to the sks is it’s the only semi auto that’s in BR2
Are they any good? I like to use the sks in games to compare it to the rifle in real life but it is a little expensive.
I’m the same I love the sks my honest opinion is they are mid they kick a lot only have a 5 round mag and normally take 2 shots to kill unless you hit upper chest or head. But saying that if you semi autos in br2 for Russia then they are useful and I mean it’s an sks so at the end of the day I couldn’t say no. If you don’t get them now they probably won’t come back till next year if at all
I have all of them. I never use any of them.
That semi auto for Russians should be on the tech tree.
I bought the tempest years ago and it’s pretty decent, didn’t seem as OP as some people seem to think, but strong for sure.
