Wroclaw is a beautiful little Polish city with a long history, it must be remembered that before World War Two this was in fact a German city called Breslau, the third biggest German city east of Berlin, with the stroke of a pen and the changing of a borderline at the Potsdam Conference of 1945 ,Breslau became Wroclaw and Polish ,its history dates back to the days of the Roman Empire, this was in fact a city at the crossroads of amber trade between the Roman Empire and the Baltic Sea and you can still vestiges of this period in some area's of Wrocław, along Kazimierza Wielkiego there's a set of Roman ruins that look fascinating, fenced off and looking a bit neglected you can clearly see the layout of the Roman buildings, its wonderful to view and amazing to find,if you're walking down Kazimierza Wielkiego it's a set of Roman ruins to check out .
