I just finished monk 🥲😩

So bittersweet. Although I’d seen it before, I just rewatched it all the way through and now that it’s over idk what I’ll do without my comfort show! I’ve already seen the movie as well. What am I to do now? 😭 lol

Watch any police procedural or crime show like

Psych

Lie to Me

Law and Order

Dexter

Bones

Medium

Burn Notice

CSI

iZombie

Or watch House until you're ready to rewatch it.

I loveeee Dexter. I’ve watched it twice times already. I’ll check out some of the other ones Ty:)

Watch psych. I did after I finished monk and I love it just as much. Its tone is more comedic than dramatic ( I feel monk is the reverse) but if you like monk and it’s humor, you’ll like psych. If you like shows that gives you clues and it’s got good comedy, you should also try Leverage. It’s a heist show, but I love the how they did it breakdown. And the characters can all be very funny.

It’s not on Netflix :(

I think it’s on peacock. I didn’t have to pay to watch it

Psych is the obvious one to go to next. Started airing while Monk was on, I think followed Monks time slot, and has that cozy kinda detective vibe. But the first season is kinda weak (especially the pilot) and takes awhile to grow on you. OR if you don’t mind an older total classic that is still amazing today, and you can see the inspiration from it in Monk, definitely watch Columbo. I think a lot of people have this impression that it’s this old, lame, boring show. It’s not. Definitely recommend it. You’ll find yourself making comparisons between him and Monk too, their personalities and detective styles.

Columbo still holds up well.

Psych is the answer. Give it a chance, it grows on you and then you’re completely hooked.

I love Monk, too! My favorite episode is Mr. Monk and the Panic Room. As for similar things to watch, the TV show Longmire might be a good fit. It's far more serious, but it does have some lighthearted moments.

The Mentalist is a great show to watch after. It’s heavier than Monk but still good nonetheless.

One of my other favourites!
