Odd choice to put a 120Hz 250 nit WVA panel on a laptop without a dGPU.

On such a laptop I'd rather have a 60Hz IPS with superior colour reproduction, contrast and brightness.

    Anyone got coupon code

The AMD model is a good deal too.

There is no price difference between this and this deal and the second one is a significantly better laptop.

I'd for that one, but I wouldn't say that's significantly better.

Great spec until you reach the £10 dimmymcdim screen. 120Hz but dimmer than a cheap phone, makes no sense to me.

Anyone got any real word experience with the Intel 120U? Looking at this and an Inspiron 14 2-in-1 (120U, 1Tb, 512GB) for £649 (minus 5% discount).

120U is just a rebranded 12th gen chip, don't expect any noticeable improvements.

Looks like it has the hinges / lids that come away very easily on one side and break the screen often in the process.

We have had a lot at work with this design fail the same way. Wouldn't touch for this reason alone. If you have one rarely shut the lid if you can help it.

Dell support really don't care. (edited)

So purchased this in the end.
    1) fan is very very noisy
    2) keyboard has some glitch. When pressing W it just closes the tab in the browser (doesn't matter Chrome or Edge)
    3) sometimes letter C starts typing itself nonstop
Will contact Dell next week for a replacement.
