The WCIC Sinhala and Tamil Avurudu Udawa and Eid Festival, powered by DFCC Aloka, concluded last month, showcasing the vibrant spirit of Sri Lankan culture and providing a platform for women entrepreneurs to shine.
Organized by the Women’s Chamber of Industry and Commerce (WCIC), the festival took place at the Colombo City Centre.
The bazaar boasted a total of 52 vendors showcasing a diverse array of products ranging from footwear to garments, accessories to kitchenware, and spices to personal care items.
Representing regions across Sri Lanka including Colombo, Galle, Jaffna, Vavuniya, Mannar, Bandaragama, Negombo, Hambantota, and Avissawella, the festival celebrated the cultural richness and entrepreneurial spirit, providing a memorable shopping experience for all.
