Sports Illustrated threw a party in New York City last night (May 16) to celebrate their swimsuit issue, and whomst should show up? None other than Brittany Mahomes—who stepped out wearing a naked dress embellished with a cascading skirt of silver flowers. She paired the look with soft curls, silver sandals, and a matching bag.
And yep, Brittany attended the event with her husband, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes:
ICYMI, Brittany was featured in Sports Illustrated earlier this year. Ahead of the party, she dropped a photo from her swimsuit shoot, writing "What an absolute dream to join the incredible @si_swimsuit family! I’m so grateful for the amazing team of women who give us this incredible platform to be our truest most authentic selves!"
She also shared a behind-the-scenes look at her shoot, which honestly has me desperate for a beach vacation.
“As a girl from Tyler, Texas, who only really knew sports, never in a million years did I think I’d be in [the SI Swimsuit Issue],” Brittany told the magazine. “I’m just so grateful for this opportunity. People are going to love you or hate you, but finding your values and what makes you ‘you’ to be the best version of yourself is what really matters. Whether that’s health and wellness, being a great wife or mom, or career goals, being the best version of you is the most important thing you can be.”
