HEY KELELIANS! 👽🌌💙 Finding Nemo is my favorite movie and I got this stellar idea of applying the Fooley remix to one of the most memorable scenes of the movie for me and I LOVE how it turned out!
I’m mesmerized by how creative ideas that feel so right (just right ;), as Kelela would say) always tend to work out and it’s so amazing how the visual part of something will align with the audio part of something that my brain connects together (for example, how the mouth movements of Dory and Marlin partially sync to the remix in the beginning and how it just so happens that when the anglerfish is revealed, the remix is at the point where it’s sort of shedding a layer by incorporating the original Fooley vocals and it creates this awesome effect/transition with the visuals and it just so happens that the abrasive sonics are paired visually with the particular actions being shown with the anglerfish and Marlin.)
CALLING ALL KELELIANS! (gosh, it feels powerful to say that haha) I will be posting two more audiovisual edits with descriptions tomorrow and Monday (“Divorce” and then “Closure” remix edits, respectively) and I want the fans to enjoy, however I also REALLY WANT KELELA TO SEE THESE EDITS, AS WELL, AS I’M SURE THAT SHE’D LOVE TO SEE THEM. This being said, what do you think would be the best way to try to get in contact with Kelela? If there’s anything you (or an army of Kelelians) can do to get Kelela’s attention about these edits, I would DEEPLY APPRECIATE IT and so PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS!
