The Padres visit the Cubs with Yu Darvish facing Justin Steele. Darvish averaged less that five inning per start this season, but he did spend two weeks on the illjured list. He pitched five shutout inning in his return on April 30th. Steele make his first start since March after suffering a hamstring injury. He’s 24-16 in his career with a 3.28 ERA and excellent rates in his three true outcomes.

Bryse Wilson takes on Cole Ragans as Milwaukee travels to Kansas City. Wilson joined the Brewers in 2023. In mostly relief, he is 8-1 with a 2.68 ERA. He doesn’t blow batters away, but he does limit hits. Ragans allowed just one home run in his 36 2/3 innings this season.
