to the home of the Chiefs! The 2007-2008 school year at Miami
Carol
City Senior High School promises to be one of the most rewarding
years ever for our students and staff alike. With that in mind,
the home page of our web site should give you an overview
of
the policies and procedures that will lead to academic excellence
this year. It is hoped that as you move through this school year,
you will find your academic classes beneficial to you as you strive
to achieve your future goals. Our athletics and activities are
designed to offer enriching and rewarding experiences for your
total development
as a Chief. Your year as a Chief should bring excellence to

All students will wear the
listed:
* Polo Shirts – Orange, Black, White or Khaki
* Pants – Black or Khaki
* Students are not allowed to wear shorts, skirts, jeans, T-Shirts
or collarless shirts.
* HEADWARE: Hats, hair rollers, scarves and sunglasses are not allowed
on campus. Any student found in possession of any of these
items will have them confiscated and will be subject to disciplinary
action.

 The use
of cellular phones is Strictly Prohibited on campus
during the school hours. Any student in violation of this policy
will have the phone confiscated and not returned to anyone except
the parent/guardian. Miami Carol City Senior High School is not
responsible for the loss or theft of a cellular phone while in
the possession of the student. |

MISSION
STATEMENT

The mission
of Miami Carol City Senior High School is to prepare our learners
by providing them with a sound academic and technologically challenging
environment. With the active involvement of our parents, students,
and community stakeholders in the educational process, we will
assist our students in developing the skills necessary for success
in the ever-changing diverse world. It is our profound desire to
enable all learners to become confident, critical thinkers who
are productive and socially conscious members of society, as well
as globally aware independent citizens. |
