Exciting news for travellers between India and Egypt! EgyptAir, the national carrier of Egypt and Africa’s oldest airline has announced a significant increase in flight frequency on its Delhi-Cairo route.

This move comes after the successful launch of their first direct flight between the two capitals last August, which operated four times a week. Recognizing a surge in travel demand, EgyptAir is now set to offer daily service, providing passengers with even greater flexibility and connectivity.

Strengthening Ties Through Daily Connections

“We’ve witnessed remarkable growth in travel, business exchanges, and cultural ties between Egypt and India since launching the direct flight last year,” said Amr Aly, EgyptAir’s Country Manager for India. “This shift to daily flights signifies our commitment to further strengthening these connections.”

Aligning with Strategic Growth

This increased frequency aligns perfectly with the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation’s strategy to solidify Cairo’s position as a major air travel hub connecting Africa to the world.

Passengers flying on the Delhi-Cairo route will experience the comfort and efficiency of EgyptAir’s Airbus A320neo fleet, known for its modern design and fuel efficiency.

Celebrating Legacy, Embracing the Future

The announcement comes shortly after the celebration of EgyptAir’s 92nd anniversary, solidifying their rich history and dedication to providing exceptional air travel experiences for nearly a century. This daily service is a major development for travellers seeking a convenient and direct connection between India and Egypt.

Anniversary Discount Promotion

On the occasion of its 92nd anniversary, EgyptAir is also offering a 40% discount on all Economy class fares from Delhi to Cairo. This special promotion is available until June 30th, making it an excellent opportunity for travellers to explore Egypt at a reduced cost.

Free 96-Hour Transit Visa

In another development, EgyptAir has introduced a new travel offering: a free 96-hour transit visa for eligible travellers. This visa, obtainable upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, allows visitors to explore Egypt’s attractions during their layover.

However, this free transit visa is available only to travellers whose nationality permits them to obtain an emergency visa upon arrival at Cairo Airport.

Conclusion

By increasing flight frequency, EgyptAir not only aims to meet rising demand but also to further solidify the growing partnership between Egypt and India, fostering more robust business, tourism, and cultural ties.
