Dog Days Bar & Grill

Stars are for the entertainment/bands not the food. The food is terrible. Service was good and band was great just don't eat here. Even the nachos are bad.

Ah where to begin....
We arrived at stood at the outside hostess stand for a few minutes. We seemed invisible as two others walked up and were helped in front of us. The hostess oblivious to the fact that she had two sides. Once we called out to her to help us - we were quickly sat inside. We sat there for 10-15 minutes without acknowledgement. I looked around trying to catch the eye of any of the staff. This was not a situation of being short staffed - there were a ton of staff walking around, talking, waiting on others, standing. I finally walked up to the bar where there was an open seat and stood there for about 5 minutes waiting for the two bartenders to acknowledge me. Nothing. Finally a gal can over I ordered two beers with cash and asked her if she knew where I could find my waitress. She said you have to go to the hostess stand first, I said I did and she said ok she would let my waitress know. She came over and apologized and from there on out it was pretty typical service. I had the Cobb salad and my husband had the pulled pork sandwich. The salad was horrible. Harley any meat, uncooked bacon, not ripe avocado. I picked off what I could and ate it. My husband said the sandwich was good and his fries were hot. Here's the thing: ACKNOWLEDGE people. Even if you are busy you can say hi. And since there were so many staff- I have to deduce that they are not manger well or at all. I never saw a manager. I will skip this place next time I go to the lake. A $16 salad should be a no-brainer to get right.

Our food was fantastic! Service was ok, we moved from a table to shade at the bar, and our server didn't notify the people delivering food. Food was awesome!

I wish I could leave a negative star review, but this place is horrible. I've had some bad experiences at restaurants, but this one takes the cake. Staff is incredibly rude, not all of them granted, but definitely some of them. The manager though was one of the rudest people I've ever met. When we called him over to complain about the service we received he wasn't willing to do anything about it. Never apologized so safe to say we won't be coming back here. Please just go somewhere else on the lake. Only place I've had a bad experience at on Lake of the Ozarks.

I come here every year for the white party! Vinyl and CEO kill it every time! Great staff, great food, great memories! I hope they're playing again this year- they're so good.

The concept is cute, the execution is abysmal. The food was sub-par (they didn't have "steak" which is over half the menu and although they purport to have GF either the waitress was uninformed or was too lazy to find out because they didn't have that either ostensibly), the waitress WAS lazy (we had to get our own napkins, silverware and water). Would NOT recommend going here if it was the only place open and you were LITERALLY starving it was that terrible.

Waitress could've cared less about us. Didn't introduce herself, didn't say thanks for coming in, rarely checked in on us, acted like she was annoyed to be serving us. Really disappointing when you're ready to have a fun pool day with your family. Giving it 3 stars since drinks were good and liked the atmosphere. Not sure I would come back because of the service we experienced.

Stopped for lunch, had zero wait. Offered for us to sit outside, at the pool, or inside. We ordered drinks which the bartender makes one at a time, so that seemed to take the longest, but ohh so tasty. I had a frozen mudslide-delicious! My niece had the Jamaican punch, and really liked it too. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap with no lettuce and fries. The fries were the best thing on the plate. Awesome
Ranch. My son said the burger was mostly bun. Next time I will order something different and definitely go for the frozen drinks and pool.

Loud but fun! Great waitress and food. Kids loved the pool and had a great time. Lots of activity and people

I would honestly give the place 0 stars if possible my food was cold the waitress was very rude, the manger was so grumpy not to mention the food was cold
