Whats mods do you use? Conquest enhanced? The maps seem to load too slow for me despite my specs being good which really puts me off from playing. (Good takes by the way)

Crazy Conquest by HOBOE (though truth be told I modified the files a bit to give me more time to defend or attack when playing Dynamic Conquest) and BM mod by Armpit_Sweat.

I wanted to try Conquest Enhanced but decided not to, more or less wanted to cut down the need to be compatible with other mods (and just incase a new update arrives, spare me the heartbreak of my game being broken or bugged).

This is all vanilla by the way in graphics, everything on Ultra, no graphic mods installed except the gameplay ones.

So. I'm playing crazy conquest with mace. Works great. Really like the simplicity and performance as compared to conquest enhanced which i found unbalance in terms of numbers and ammunition. Can you tell me what files to edit for more time to set up in defence. I have a fair bit of know how how to mod these files to my taste but don't know where the time factor is for defence. Thanks in advance.

Hey fam, so navigate to where your game stores steam workshop mods, then click on resource >script >multiplayer > bot.data.lua

Open that file with whatever you use for coding (I prefer Notepad++ or Visual Studio Code) and you're in business.

Look up line 12, and you should see this line, which is for when the bot is defending when you're attacking:

-- Conquest
    -- Bot is defender
    DefenseMin = 2 * 60 * 1000, 
    DefenseMax = 3 * 60 * 1000,

The line below is for when the bot is attacking when you're defending:

-- Bot is attacker
    AttackMin = 9 * 60 * 1000, 
    AttackMax = 9.5 * 60 * 1000,

Simply change the value of "2" in the line "DefenseMin = 2 * 60 * 1000," to whatever time you want (measured in minutes). Same process for "AttackMin = 9 * 60 * 1000," just change "9".

There are also other lines too, like governing how many waves spawn or how many units in a wave spawn. Pretty much self explanatory thanks in part to the coder's commentary on what each line does, so change it at your own preference.

EDIT: Make sure under DefenseMin, DefenseMax, AttackMin and AttackMax have the same value you set it to, otherwise if you want a little bit of spice, the bot will pop up randomly inbetween those values. Let me know if it works!

The devs did a really good job on that part. My only complaint is the janky animation for infantry at times but overall. no other complaints but that . Pausing the game and just exploring the battlefield, sometimes feels like you're being transported back in time.

Its a sombering sight to see when you look at the battlefield in the aftermath.

Also helps that I have some mods on that keeps the bodies and burned out hulks from despawning.

Same here, had a pretty nasty battle with US forces last night, I was playing as the USSR and it was a bloodbath, I had to face a few M26s

How did you go on first person view as tank commander (image 1), is it a mod?

No mods! (Though I wish there was one). I just hid the HUD and positioned myself ontop of the turret and painstakingly moved the camera to make it look like I'm watching from the hatch. I tried doing an open turret but on the Tiger H1, the Tank commander's hands kinda glitches through, so I decided on a closed turret.

A mod solving that and giving the ability to play in that camera in tank direct control would be awesome. Do you know any modder or any way I can suggest this idea for a mod? Thank you in advance.

Agreed, would be epic to play in that mode. Would also save a lot of time when trying do some screenshots.

Black Sea Coast, this was on Dynamic Conquest, Heroic Difficulty.

And a few realisim mods on to keep bodies and burned out vehicles from despawning.
