What is included in a Walmart+ plan?

As a Walmart+ member, you’ll enjoy benefits including free delivery from your store, member prices on fuel at select stations, and use of mobile scan & go, which enables you to scan items as you shop in-store, streamlining your checkout process. We’re working on adding even more great perks, too!

What types of Walmart+ plans are available?

Monthly: $12.95/month. Annual: $98/year. Plus applicable taxes.

Can I switch to a different Walmart+ plan after I sign up?

Yes, you can switch plans between monthly and annual.

Do I need to download the Walmart app to use Walmart+?

Some benefits in the Walmart+ membership are only available through our app.

Payment and Billing

What forms of payment can I use to purchase Walmart+?

Credit cards and PayPal can be used to purchase a Walmart+ membership.

How do I change my payment method?

When do I get billed for my Walmart+ membership?

You’ll be billed at the end of your free trial for the plan you selected at sign-up. After that, we will charge your credit card the applicable membership fee on a recurring basis for the term of the membership plan that you selected. To avoid charges for a new term, you must cancel before the end of the current term. You can cancel by visiting your Walmart+ account page.

Will I receive a receipt for my Walmart+ membership payment?

Members will receive a confirmation email on the day of sign-up with trial dates, membership plan, and renewal date information.

Will Walmart+ automatically renew?

Yes. We will charge your credit card the applicable membership fee on a recurring basis for the term of the membership plan that you selected. To avoid charges for a new term, you must cancel before the end of the current term. You can cancel from Walmart+ account page or contact customer care.

What happens if my form of payment is declined?

Your membership will be canceled, and you’ll need to reactivate.

Why was my membership charged to a different card?

If there is a problem with your main card at the time of billing, we charge another card in your account. Make sure to have the most up-to-date card on file.

Does Walmart+ accept EBT?

Not at this time. There are select states where EBT is accepted as payment for groceries through delivery.

How do I cancel my Walmart+ plan?

You can cancel from your Walmart+ account page or contact customer care.

Can I get a refund on my Walmart+ plan?

No refunds if you choose to cancel. If you cancel before the end of a paid period, you’ll have access to membership benefits until end of that paid period.

Free Shipping

What items are eligible for W+ free shipping?

Items that are "shipped by Walmart". This excludes oversized and freight items, as well as any third-party sellers not shipped by Walmart.

What items are not available for W+ free shipping?

Oversized and freight items are not included, as well as third-party sellers not shipped by Walmart.

How will I see if I get free shipping?

At checkout, you’ll see that your shipping fee is waived.

Why does my order still show a shipping charge at checkout?

Confirm that your item(s) are "shipped by Walmart" by looking for that phrase on the product's detail page and/or the order review page during checkout. Confirm the items are not coming from your local store by free delivery, which has an order minimum of $35.

Is there a limit to how many times I can order?

No, you can order as often as you’d like!

Are express delivery fees waived for Walmart+ members?

Express delivery is available for an additional fee of $10.00 and is not currently waived for any customer. Walmart+ members always enjoy free standard delivery from stores, and free shipping with no order minimum required.

What types of shipping qualify for W+ free shipping?

Next-day, two-day, and standard shipping are included.

How do I know which items are eligible for free shipping or free delivery from my local store?

You can filter items by "in- store" or "shipping" based on how/when you'd like to receive your order. Your "in-store" items would include the $35 order minimum for free delivery, whereas the "shipping" filter would have no order minimum. You may also review your delivery and shipping options during checkout.

Can I place an order with free shipping, no order minimum and free delivery from my local store in the same order?

Yes, now you can order your groceries, shop for your home, & more—all at the same time. Items sold and shipped by Walmart will be shipped with next-day, two-day, or standard shipping. Items from your local store will be delivered during the time slot you choose.

Free Delivery

How does free delivery from your store work?

Book a time slot for your delivery that’s convenient for you, add items to your cart, and check out. You can utilize the "in-store" or the "need it fast" filters and select "today" to filter the items that are available for pickup or delivery. Members never need to pay the $7.95-$9.95 delivery fee. If under $35, then they just pay the below order minimum fee of $6.99.

Is there a minimum order amount for free delivery?

Is there a mark-up on Walmart+ delivery orders?

Nope! We don’t add additional fees to your orders of $35 or more.

Is there a limit to how many times I can order?

Can I save multiple delivery addresses to my Walmart+ account?

Yes, you can save multiple delivery addresses.

How do I change my delivery address?

In your account, you can update under "Delivery addresses."

Are there restrictions on delivery times?

They vary by store, but there are time slots as early as 7 AM and as late as 8 PM.

Does Walmart+ guarantee same-day delivery for members?

Time slots are first-come, first-serve.

Are express delivery fees waived for Walmart+ members?

Are there any differences to my grocery order with a Walmart+ plan?

Mobile Scan & Go

What is mobile scan & go?

Shop and checkout with your phone in-store. It’ll save you time and it’s contact-free. Just scan, pay, and be on your way!

How do I get started with scan & go?

Open the Walmart app when you’re inside a Walmart store.

Do I need to download the Walmart app to use scan & go?

Yes.

Do all Walmart locations offer scan & go?

Yes, all locations!

Do I need to be connected to the store’s WiFi to use scan & go?

No, but make sure that your location services are on for the app, so you get access to our store assistant.

Is there a limit to how many things I can buy in one trip using scan & go?

Nope!

Can I apply coupons with scan & go?

Not at this time.

What payment methods can I use with scan & go?

Connect a payment to your Walmart account. Credit card or a debit card.

Do I need to show my receipt to anyone before leaving the store?

Members must go through self-checkout and scan the QR code. This provides your receipt, and allows an associate to check your ID for age-restricted items, such as alcohol.

How do I bag the items I purchased using scan & go?

You can bag your items at self-checkout when you scan your QR code and get your receipt.

Video streaming with Paramount+

What is Paramount+?

Paramount+ is a streaming service with over 45,000 episodes, blockbuster movies, exclusive originals and live sports. Want even MORE to explore? Get the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® plan for ad-free streaming (except for live TV and a few shows) and all your favorite SHOWTIME series, movies, docs and sports.

I’m currently a Paramount+ subscriber. Can I take advantage of the Paramount+ benefit from Walmart+?

Yes, current Paramount+ subscribers can take advantage of this benefit, but you will need to cancel your existing Paramount+ subscription first. Once your final billing cycle with Paramount+ is complete, visit your Walmart+ account hub and follow the steps to create a new Paramount+ account and begin streaming.

I’m an existing Paramount+ subscriber, and am getting an error message when trying to use my Paramount+ credentials. What can I do?

If you're an existing Paramount+ subscriber, you must first cancel your existing Paramount+ account. If you signed up on your computer or smart TV, visit paramountplus.com, sign in, go to your Account page, and select Cancel Subscription. If you signed up on another device, like your smart phone or connected device, you must cancel on that device. Once you cancel your existing Paramount+ account, you can create a new Paramount+ account through your Walmart+ account hub and begin streaming.

How much is Paramount+ with Walmart+?

The Paramount+ Essential plan subscription is now included with Walmart+ monthly and annual memberships at no additional cost to you. Walmart+ members have the option to switch to a Paramount+ with SHOWTIME® plan for an additional cost, after registering for the Essential plan through Walmart+. Visit your Walmart+ account hub for details.

Can I switch my Essential plan to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan using my Walmart+ benefit?

Yes, for an additional cost, paid members that have already registered with the Paramount+ Essential plan through their Walmart+ membership can visit their Walmart+ account hub and follow the ‘manage plan’ prompt to switch plans.

How do I stream Paramount+ with my Walmart+ membership?

Once you have created a Paramount+ account through your Walmart+ account hub, you can visit paramountplus.com or download the Paramount+ app to start streaming.

I’m not currently a Walmart+ member, how do I sign up for Walmart+ to get access to a Paramount+ Essential plan subscription?

Visit walmart.com/plus to join Walmart+. Once you become a Walmart+ member, visit your account page, click on the video streaming benefit and follow the steps to create a Paramount+ account.

What devices can I use to watch Paramount+?

Stream Paramount+ on your computer, mobile device, smart TV, or connected device.

How do I cancel my Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan?

Visit your Walmart+ account hub to manage your plan. If you choose to switch to the Paramount+ Essential plan that is included with your Walmart+ membership, you will no longer be charged for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME at your next renewal date. You will continue to have access to Paramount+ with SHOWTIME until that renewal date. No refunds will be issued.

Why am I ineligible to upgrade to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan?

If you have your Walmart+ membership through AARP, or are on a Student Membership, we are working to make those plans eligible to upgrade to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan soon. Please check back in the future to see if your membership has become eligible.

Additionally, if you have an Associate Membership, you are not eligible to upgrade to the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan.

Fuel Benefit

What is member prices on fuel and how do I get it?

Using the Walmart app, Walmart+ members will receive 10¢ off per gallon at Exxon & Mobil stations, up to 10¢ off at select Walmart & Murphy stations, and member prices at Sam’s Club fuel centers.

How do I access my member prices on fuel at the pump?

In the Walmart app, select member prices on fuel from your W+ membership page and follow the instructions.

How do I apply my member prices on fuel inside the fuel station?

You have to do it through the pump, not inside the station.

What if I forget to bring my Walmart app to the pump?

Sorry, your member prices on fuel can’t be applied without the app.

Is there a limit to how many gallons I can get member prices on fuel?

There’s no limit to how many gallons you can get a member prices on fuel.

Can I get access member prices on fuel more than 1x per day?

Yes. You will receive your member prices on fuel each time you fill up.

Can the member prices on fuel be applied to all fuel types?

Yes, all fuel types qualify.

If I can’t figure it out at the pump, can an attendant help me?

Yes, an attendant can help you complete your transactioñ.

Pause Membership

What is ‘Pause membership’?

Members can pause their Walmart+ membership one month at a time at the end of their current billing cycle.

How does it work?

When a member pauses their membership, they won’t be charged during the pause period, and they won’t be able to use their membership benefits from the time their current billing cycle ends until the pause period ends.

How many times can a member pause their membership?

A member can pause their membership for 1 month at a time up to 3 times in a 12-month rolling period.

When can a member pause their membership?

Members can pause their membership at any time in their current billing cycle. If they pause their membership in the middle of a billing cycle, pause will go into effect at the end of their current billing cycle.

Who is eligible to pause membership?

Currently only paid annual and monthly members can pause their membership on the Walmart+ base plan. Eventually, the program may be extended to trial plans as well as members who have plus ups.

What membership benefits and functions are inaccessible during a membership in pause state?

FDFS (free delivery/ free shipping), FSNM (free shipping no minimum), Fuel, Scan and go, P+ (Paramount +), Walmart rewards, Pick your billing date, Refer a friend

What happens to rewards/cashback while a membership is in pause state?

Members can’t save or get any additional rewards on purchases made during the pause period. Members can use their existing accumulated rewards during the pause period.

What happens to LTOs (Limited Time Offers) while a membership is in pause state?

If a member has already redeemed an LTO they can continue accessing it during the pause state. However, if a member wants to access an LTO they qualify for and have not yet redeemed, they should resume their membership first to access the LTO.

Walmart+ Travel

Where can I find my booking(s)?

Check your email inbox for a confirmation sent by Expedia. Additionally, you can access your booking(s) by going to WalmartPlusTravel.com and selecting Trips.

How is the Walmart Cash calculated when booking vacation packages?

If you’re booking a combination of air travel and other accommodations, you will receive 2% Walmart Cash on air travel and 5% Walmart Cash on everything else.

What happens to my Walmart cash if I cancel or modify my reservation(s)?

The Walmart Cash you receive with the corresponding booking will be adjusted in your “pending” Walmart Cash balance within 24-48 hours in your account.

Will I get Walmart Cash through Walmart+ Travel powered by Expedia if I cancel my membership?

No, you must be a current Walmart+ member at the time of booking to receive Walmart Cash; you cannot receive Walmart Cash retroactively. If you’ve booked your trip prior to cancelling your membership, you will receive the Walmart Cash for that booking 30 days after you have completed that booking.

Does my Walmart Cash expire?

No, your Walmart Cash never expires.

Can I redeem my Walmart Cash on future bookings through Walmart+ Travel powered by Expedia?

No, you can only use your Walmart Cash on future Walmart purchases or redeem for cash back. See Walmart Cash FAQs for questions on restrictions for redeeming Walmart Cash.

When will I see my Walmart Cash received through Walmart+ Travel in my account?

You will see your Walmart Cash as “pending” in your account until your travel is complete. The final amount of Walmart Cash you received will be reflected in your account 30 days after the completion of your trip or reservation.

Will the Walmart Cash received through Walmart+ Travel be combined with Walmart Cash from other programs?

Yes, all the Walmart Cash that you receive will be pooled into one balance and can be redeemed on future purchases in Walmart stores, Walmart.com, or redeemed for cash back at any Walmart store. See Walmart Cash FAQs for questions on restrictions for receiving Walmart Cash.

If I have any questions, changes, or issues with my trip or bookings, who can I contact?

Why am I not seeing the correct amount of Walmart Cash reflected on the Walmart+ Travel site (WalmartPlusTravel.com) or in my Walmart.com account?

If you are on WalmartPlusTravel.com and not seeing Walmart Cash for your bookings, please log out and log back in. If you are not seeing the accurate pending Walmart Cash on your Walmart.com (W+) account, please wait at least 48 hours after making your booking for this to be updated.

W+ Assist

What is Walmart+ Assist?

Walmart+ Assist is a program where eligible customers are able to join Walmart+ at a discounted rate. This program is offered to anyone who qualifies for government assistance programs and can offer sufficient documents to prove their eligibility. Eligible programs include SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, SSI, TANF, TTANF, NSLP and LIHEAP.

Does W+ Assist offer a free trial?

Yes, customers that have never been a Walmart+ member before and are successfully verified will get a 30-day free trial to start their membership.

How is Walmart+ Assist different from a full price W+ Membership?

Walmart+ Assist members enjoy every membership benefit that full price Walmart+ members enjoy, just at a discounted rate of $6.47/month or $49/year.

Which membership types are eligible for Walmart+ Assist?

New members, existing members, cancelled members, paused members & trial members are all eligible for Walmart+ Assist. In order to transfer your membership from Walmart+ to Walmart+ Assist, simply visit www.walmart.com/plus/snap and complete the Walmart+ Assist sign-up process.  Note: If your Walmart+ membership is associated with a service you receive through another company (such as Amex, etc.), you will need to end that association before being able to sign up for Walmart+ Assist.

How will I be verified for eligibility to enroll into the Walmart+ Assist discounted membership?

Walmart+ has partnered with a third-party verification provider called “SheerID” to verify your eligibility for Walmart+ Assist. As part of the membership enrollment process, you will be taken to the SheerID website where you will be requested to fill out the eligibility verification form. You may only need to show documents if your initial verification fails. SheerID will let you know what specific document you need to upload to prove eligibility.

What happens if I can’t prove that I am eligible during membership enrollment?

If you cannot provide acceptable proof of eligibility, we will be unable to approve you for Walmart+ Assist. You are of course eligible for our normal Walmart+ membership, which you can sign up for at walmart.com/plus.

How long will my verification last?

Your verified status will be valid for one year from the start date of your paid Walmart+ Assist membership. Walmart+ will verify your eligibility for the program on an annual basis in an offline process without any customer input for most cases.

What is Walmart+ Student?

What types of students are eligible?

You are eligible for Walmart+ Student if you meet all the following criteria: You are 18 years of age or older. You are a current or incoming student enrolled in an undergraduate or advanced degree program at a Title IV-accredited college or university in the US who meets verification qualifications. You reside in the United States (including its territories, commonwealths and possessions).
