Beirut SC announced its withdrawal from the match tonight, Thursday, May 16, against Homenetmen at Demerjian Stadium. The match was intended to determine the third and fourth place in the Lebanese league.
Consequently, this withdrawal led to the Beirut Club team’s defeat in the match, with a score of 20-0, automatically granting victory to Homenetmen for third place.
It should be noted that Beirut SC will play in the semi-final of the Antoine Choueiri Cup (Lebanese Cup) next Monday against the winner of the match between Homenetmen and Central Jounieh Club.
