As already promised, Motorola today launched the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in India. The phone comes with a beautiful design, brilliant display, Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, up to 12GB RAM, and 5000 mAh battery.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion comes with an impressive display. It has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 10-bit OLED curved edge display with 144Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display has up to 1600 nits peak brightness and supports HDR10+. It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection to protect the display from scratches.
The phone packs Octa Core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC with Adreno 710 GPU. It comes in 8GB+128GB or 12GB+256GB models. Here, it is worth mentioning that the phone has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The phone runs Hello UI based on Android 14 out of the box. Motorola is also promising three years of OS upgrades along with four years of security updates. I hope the company will keep its promise.
The camera setup of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion includes a 50 megapixels primary camera with Sony LYT-700C sensor with OIS. It also has a 13 megapixels ultra-wide camera that can also capture macro shots. The phone also has 32 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies.
It has an in-display fingerprint sensor to quickly unlock the phone. The phone has Stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos to provide a good audio experience.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion also has 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, and NFC connectivity. The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 68W fast charging.
It comes in Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue colors with a vegan back. There is also a sleek Forest Blue color option. The phone also has IP68 dust and water protection. It measures 161.9 x 73.1 x 7.9mm and weighs 174.9g.
