-----
* [[ZigZaggedTrope Zig-Zagged]] with Brian. He's played by his usual actor Seth MacFarlane, but in the pilot episode, Brian's played by Creator/WilliamHMacy like originally planned in development. Of course, Brian resumes to be played by MacFarlane in this adaption (with the reason for why in this universe being Macy being busy with other projects and budget restrictions), but Macy in this adaption does [[RoleReprise briefly reprise his role as Brian]] in "A Star is Born... * Bernice, Cleveland's girlfriend in Season 6, was not played full by Creator/WendyRaquelRobinson like in the original but instead by Creator/ChristinaMilian (mostly due to Bernice being a recurring character who speaks often and not being in one episode)

** Creator/AasifMandvi as Yousief, Fouad, and Jesus Christ to give them a Muslim voice actor.
** Creator/ZahnMcClarnon replaces Creator/BillFagerbakke as Change for a Buck to give him a Native American voice actor.
** Aubrey Plaza as Juanita to give her a Latina voice
