My experience at Woodstock High School has been fantastic. Not only is my school special because it has been around for over 100 years, it creates a culture that makes alumni want to come back and visit. High school is a time in students' lives where they find who they want to be, what they want to do, and their strengths/weaknesses. Woodstock High school definitely helped me confirm what I love to do. They have done a fabulous job of preparing me for college by providing AP classes and the dual credit program where I can graduate high school with an Associate's degree. However, one thing I would like to see improve is the care for the bathrooms and food health. It would be helpful to have better updated bathrooms and healthier, tastier food that students can eat. Even more, I am so grateful that Woodstock High School provided me with soccer, basketball, and tennis to play throughout the years. Playing sports influenced me even more to want to continue soccer in college.
When i first came to this school, i loved how small it was. Although i did pretty good in my other school and had a 3.0 gpa, after coming to this school, my gpa began to go up by a lot. And that was because my teachers taught me so well and never gave up on me. I felt understood and cared for by my teachers, and they always gave me chances to do better. This is why i love this school. They really cater to the students needs.
The school has no air conditioning and it’s made of brick so it’s like being in a pizza oven. And the rooms with air conditioning have no windows to see outside. However most teachers there are nice and the school is easy to pass classes if your paying attention.
