18 K-Drama Actors And Actresses And Their “Average” Heights
They may not be tall-tall, but they’re not actually short either!
As K-Drama stans, nothing really gets past most of us. From the biggest news down to the smallest details, we like to keep up to date on the oppas and unnies we love watching on our screens. It’s no secret we Google and take mental notes of everything, and that includes just how tall our favorite actors and actresses are!
We’ve constantly gushed about the tallest men and women in the world of K-Drama and we’ve even delved deeper as to why height is so attractive and so important for South Koreans. As the Beauty Capital of the World, they do put a certain premium on this particular physical feature and that is why their standard for height has become, quite literally, high. (Just look at some of these actresses in K-Drama!)
In explaining this standard, Jihyun Lee reports on Creatrip that Korean women prefer men who stand above 5’9 while Korean men prefer women who are about 5’2 to 5’3. It’s worth noting that the current average height for Korean men is actually 5’6 to 5’7, a few inches less than society’s standard. On the other hand, Korean men seem to prefer women at 5’3 to 5’4, a little closer to the actual average height of Korean women of 5’2 to 5’4.
