thanks

1. Byzantium Suites Hotel and Spa, Address: Cankurtaran Mah. Akbiyik Cad. No:29 Sultanahmet, Fatih, 34122 Istanbul, Turkey

2. Room sizes are great. Reviews are great. Any issues besides the street?

3. Any other hotels i could look at for say USD 75 to 90 range?

Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. Really appreciate the advise.

meera, Byzantium Hotel is a well known good hotel on Akbıyık street. This street is also one of the most popular and lively streets at Sultanahmet. İ have no idea about the other hotel.

İ would recommend Byzantium fo you.

Enigma ...

1. The location of the Byzantium hotel is superior to the other.

2. Nope, no other issues. (We do not know 99.5% of the hotels in Istanbul.)

Check room sizes, room.views and room amenities with price.

Check hotel locations on google with street view.

Check hotel reviews on TripAdvisor. ( Breakfast quality, staff, hotel amenities etc )

"Is that a good hotel?" Well, so far you've brought up three of the 10,000 hotels in Istanbul. :) We're flattered by your belief that we know more than 100, or have even heard of more than 500, but this forum is not composed of AI-assisted travel agents who have actually directed people to the remaining 9,900. :p

Agree with GG

Some of good travel agent's, visits every each hotel to check hotel conditions in every detail.

They select the good ones for offering their customers with more reasonable price than booking.com, Expedia etc.

Additionally, hotels are pay minumum %20 up to %50 commission on room rates to 3rd online booking travel agent's like booking.com

Booking.com strategy is receiving more commissions from hotels.

They show the hotels as a recommended hotel on the listing of top page, depends on commission rates.

So if your favorite hotel is highly recommended by booking.com, double check it.
