Mumbai: PM Modi will make two visits to Mumbai for the campaign for Phase 5 V of the Lok Sabha elections and will address a public rally at Shivaji Park on May 17. As campaigning for the fifth phase ends on May 18, the INDIA bloc and Maha Vikas Aghadi have also organized a rally at BKC on May 17.
Modi will be joined at the rally by CM Eknath Shinde, Dy CMs Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, MNS chief Raj Thackeray and union minister of state Ramdas Athawale.

BJP is contesting3 seats in the city, while its ally, Shiv Sena, is contesting the other 3. Except for Mumbai North, it could be a close contest on the other 5 seats, said sources. BJP is contesting Mumbai North-East and Mumbai North-Central. BJP has not repeated any of its sitting MPs on the 3 seats it is contesting. Shinde too has not repeated Gajanan Kiritikar from Mumbai North West.
AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, NCP (SP) president Sharad Pawar, UBT Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, MPCC president Nana Patole and Congress legislature party leader Balasaheb Thorat will address the rally at BKC. MVA had planned the meeting at Shivaji Park but it had already been allotted to Mahayuti.
