I had this problem with a tablet (Trio Stealth G2 10.1) given to me by a student, and didn`t find the listed procedure correct, as the ROM version seems to have been updated.


Tablet is on at the lock screen
Locate the rest button at the top near the headphone port.
Press it with a paperclip. The unit will reboot.
Power off your tablet.
Then press and hold the "Power" and "Volume - (that`s the minus side)" until the TRIO screen appears then let off both buttons.
It should bring you to an android system recovery screen which you navigate through with your "Volume" buttons and select with your "Power" button.
Scroll down and select "wipe data/factory reset".
Then scroll down and select "yes".
Scroll down and select "wipe Cashe Partition".
Scroll down and select "wipe Media".
Then scroll down and select "yes".
After that select "reboot system now"
Once all these steps have been done properly your tablet should turn on as a brand new tablet just like the day you unboxed it.

Is there any way to get the volume button fixed? If you are able to get to the RCA logo screen with the dog, you can most likely get into the recovery mode to hard reset your tablet. With the tablet powered off, you boot up by pressing power and volume up until you see the rca logo and the dog. Keep pressing the two buttons for a few seconds then release the volume button until you see the android with the red exclamation triangle. From here, press and hold the power button but only tap volume up button once to access the recovery mode menu.

If you can`t access your phone because you don`t have the phone lock code, you only have to do is to take your phone to the nearest cellphone repair shop. They will just reset the password to its default password (which is 12345) and you can access again your phone. You can`t possibly reset it on your own so, you better take it there so they can have a look at it and fix it right away.

No, you cannot reset it from a button on the outside, but you can reboot your OS by your computer, install an operating system for your blackberry and then connect your blackberry to your laptop. you can reboot your blackberry from there.
