Long Beach High School Reviews
Rating 3.55 out of 5 128 reviews
While I did love Long Beach High School it had its downfalls. I felt as though my true academic potential was not being met. However, the culture of the school was above all. From involved parents to a school with many activities and events. I was able to experience the full extent of what I believe high school is supposed to be, growth. To that I owe Long Beach High and I hope to continue not only my growth but also my knowledge at the University level.
Long Beach High School has its pros and cons. If you're in advanced programs, the teachers are capable and good at their job. LBHS excels in arts, which is also where the least funding goes. They're slow to take action against bigotry but the counselors are excellent and go above and beyond.
Hoesntly some teachers are bad and others are amazing and are very willing to do what they can for the kids they teach.
