Because his body was in a state between life and death, Harry Potter appeared to be dead when Voldemort sent Draco Malfoy’s mom, Narcissa Malfoy, to confirm that Harry had really died.

Black was killed during his attempt to destroy the artifact.
However, his goal would never be forgotten thanks to the notes that he left behind and Black’s old house-elf, Kreacher.
Kreacher was the one who told Harry and his friends about Regulus Black and his attempt to destroy Lord Voldemort’s Horcruxes in 1997.
Ron would be the one to fulfill Regulus’s final quest after destroying the locket with the Gryffindor’s Sword.
While Black had been alive, he had always been kind to the house-elves around Hogwarts.
Kreacher and the other house-elves were inspired by his kindness, using his name as a rallying cry during the Battle of Hogwarts.
Without the work that Regulus did, Harry may have never found Slytherin’s locket.

At the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, viewers can see Draco Malfoy sending his child off to Hogwarts like many other members of his graduating class.
However, many fans are confused as to how the Malfoys avoided imprisonment in Azkaban.
Many fans of the series believe that because the Malfoys had defected from the Death Eaters and saved Harry Potter, they were able to avoid imprisonment for their part of the Battle of Hogwarts.

Although the Battle of Hogwarts was enough to leave all of the characters changed for life, they never allowed the events of the past to repeat themselves.
Lord Voldemort finally became a distant memory of the past.
