Jan Nash is a producer and writer of television programs ranging from lighthearted comedies to serious dramas. One of her earliest writing jobs was during the late 1990s on the celebrated Ellen DeGeneres sitcom "Ellen," on which she also worked as a supervising producer. Nash followed up as writer and supervising producer for the short-lived sitcom "Hiller and Diller," starring comedians Richard Lewis and Kevin Nealon. She met with considerably more success on her next sitcom, "Caroline in the City," starring Lea Thompson, which ran for four seasons. In 2001, Nash worked as a writer and co-producer on the CBS drama series "Family Law," starring Kathleen Quinlan. Despite her early work with sitcoms, Nash's greatest success has been as a writer and executive producer for the CBS procedural drama "Without a Trace," where she contributed to more than 130 episodes between '02 to '09. Nash subsequently wrote two episodes of the short-lived drama series "The Deep End," starring Billy Zane.
