Atul Agnihotri goes down the memory lane as his debut film, ‘Sir’ clocks 26 years

Atul Agnihotri marked his debut in Bollywood with the 1993 Mahesh Bhatt directorial, ‘Sir’ opposite Pooja Bhatt in the lead. Today, as the film clocks 26 glorious years, Atul takes a trip down the memory lane.

Atul Agnihotri marked his debut in Bollywood with the 1993 Mahesh Bhatt directorial, ‘Sir’ opposite Pooja Bhatt in the lead. Today, as the film clocks 26 glorious years, Atul takes a trip down the memory lane.
Taking to his Instagram handle, he shared a poster of the film which features Atul, Pooja and Naseeuddin Shah. Along with the poster, he also shared the picture of a theatre then screening the film.He captioned the post as, ‘26 years today for my first movie Sir. Thank you Bhatt Saab 🙏’

The 1993 flick also starred Paresh Rawal and Gulshan Grover negative roles. The film was reportedly later remade in Telugu as ‘Gangmaster’.
On the work front, while Atul recently jointly produced the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Bharat’, Pooja Bhatt is all set to roll once again with the sequel of her hit film, ‘Sadak’. The film will also star Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt, Gulshan Grover and others in pivotal roles.
