All times Eastern

Georgia State at Coastal Carolina
Thurs., Sept. 21 | 6:30 p.m. | ESPN
Line: Coastal -6.5
FPI pick: Coastal 69.1%

Georgia State: Watch senior quarterback Darren Grainger, a notable dual threat for the Panthers, completing over 73 percent of his passes for 803 yards and six touchdowns without an interception. A skilled runner, he averages over 6 ypc with two more scores. Senior back Marcus Carroll has 67 carries for 358 yards (5.3 average) and seven touchdowns. GSU has scored 35 or more points in every game this year.

Coastal Carolina: Grayson McCall is back for the Chanticleers, hitting almost 7 in 10 pass attempts with four touchdowns, and sophomore wide receiver Jared Brown leads the team in both rushing and receiving for an offense that averaged 420 yards per game. Coastal is 2-1 with a loss to UCLA in the opener.

Giants at 49ers
Thurs., Sept. 21 | 8:15 p.m. | Prime
Line: 49ers -10.5
FPI pick: 49ers 80.5%

Giants: The price of a franchise-record comeback win against the Cardinals last week was an injury to tailback Saquon Barkley, who is out at least for this game after spraining his ankle in Arizona. After falling behind 68-7 in their first seven quarters of the season, becoming the first team in half a century to allow 60 points before scoring any, Daniel Jones helped lead an inspired comeback. But the Giants can't afford to fall behind early against this team.

49ers: Perfect through two games, the Niners present a formidable front on defense thanks to one of the game's most physical lines, and should have an advantage against a quarterback who holds onto the ball longer than he should, an offense without its top rushing threat, and dealing with injuries at left tackle and left guard. Advantage, 49ers.
