    How to Install:

    Download the above OS file then install it by running the file you downloaded.
    Go to c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    Plug in your BB and double click on "Loader.exe." It's located in the same directory as the vendor.xml file.

    Running quite good here.

    Total surprise: BB Maps (which never really had anything but the shades of Latin America) now works as good as Google Maps... which is not exactly perfect since we dont have GPS...

    Hello,

    Are you sure it is .900? Because I have download the file from the link you posted, and my OS is not updating from .886. Even after rebooting my computer, my BB still stay on .886... Weird...

    This Update is for the Curve 8520 not the 8530...

    Will try this once I got home after dinner hope it fix the sound bugs issues I had with .822, make much more free memory space and also no more lags that I had with .822 everytime after rebooting!!

    No. You cannot put 8520 software on a 8530. It turns your device into a BrickBerry.

    8520 runs on GSM and 8530 on CDMA. Two different "radios", two different software types.
