The name 403b refers to our band members’ pending collective retirement from the (mostly) non-profit world. A new collaboration, 403b brings together seven members, from a wide range of musical backgrounds. We incorporate acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, sax, flute, and trombone, as well as three lead female and two male vocalists to create an upbeat sound that is both funky and harmonic.

Graham Patzner is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and leader of the Bay Area Indie rock band Whiskerman. Born into a musical family, Patzner studied classically since 5 years old. He attended Rutgers University for the Mason Gross conservatory for theater and blends his musical training and theater training into an experience that is uniquely instinctual and expressive. Ever chameleonic, Patzner can cross multiple musical genres in both improvisation and composition.

Powerful songs, emotional and energetic live shows, and a signature soulful voice have made Patzner a staple in the SF Bay Area music scene for over 10 years. After making 4 albums with Whiskerman, Patzner released a solo record, “Ballads”. Patzner has opened for notable acts such as Jesca Hoop and Jon Batiste and worked with producers Tony Berg and Jeff Saltzman. Patzner recently released “Kingdom Illusion” through Whiskerman and continues to release singles through his solo project.

IVO DIMCHEV- The SF Bulgarian composer, singer, choreographer, and visual and performance artist Ivo Dimchev reveals the profane as sacred. Ivo Dimchev is author of more than 30 stage performances. He has received numerous international awards for dance and theatre and has presented his work all over Europe, South and North America. Besides his artistic work Ivo Dimchev gives master classes in the National theater academy/Budapest, the Royal dance conservatorium of Belgium/Antwerp, Hochschule der Künste/Bern, DanceWeb/Vienna etc.

In the Bay Area, Dimchev has also performed with Kitka Women’s Vocal Ensemble, an Eastern European collective based in Oakland that he plans to appear with again on June 2nd at Baltic Kiss in Richmond. Their past collaboration was engineered by Dimchev fan and Kitka follower Albena Trandeva, who describes Dimchev as “if Édith Piaf and Freddie Mercury had a love child.”

“Jeff Tauber and Friends” return to the Baltic Kiss for “FIRST SUNDAY AFTERNOON JAZZ / Outside on the Deck at the Baltic Kiss”. Jeff Tauber is a tenor and soprano sax player, who started his music career in the Blues clubs of Oakland, adding a strong R&B influence to the band. John Kaydk, is one of a very few steel drum players in the bay area playing latin jazz (also doubling on alto sax), bringing his unique tropical stylings to the our latin jazz repertoire.

The Bye Bye Blackbirds are an Oakland, Ca -based indie rock and power pop band, fronted by guitarist and vocalist Bradley Skaught.
