Just that theres so much creative potential in this game, like you can get 200 hit combos with solo Dante, and even more once you start using assists, and it's so fun to learn and so satisfying to pull off. I've been playing since the day the game came out, and I'm pretty good, but I'm envious that you have that journey ahead of you of learning more and more. This is a nice combo, and if you keep playing and testing stuff and using online tutorials, you're just gonna keep getting better and improving, and improvement in this game is so fun and fulfilling. Look up Dante Bread And Butter combo videos/tutorials on YouTube.
Also called BnB's. Master his BnB's and you can do way more and longer combos, also you can get creative with it and develop your own combos or your own bread and butter combos you are comfortable executing.
You'll begin to have way more fun with Dante, which IMO is one of if not the most fun character in the game

Edit: that's just one potential BnB for him, but there's more, watch a lot of UmVC3 Dante Tutorial vids on YouTube you will improve massively if you practice the stuff they show you there.
Don't have to do it perfectly first try, break it down into small steps and practice it each one as you go till you can do one the whole way through

Yeah it's daunting at first, and bold cancel took me forever to learn properly, but once you get it it's really satisfying.
It's hard but you can't give up, it's worth struggling through the learning process because playing Dante at a high level is so satisfying to do.

It basically means like, his most simple and easiest yet also effective combos strings that the characters has.
To put it like this, buttering a piece of bread is quite simple, so Bread and butter combos are simple combos that you can practice and then employ in combat to do better with the character.
It's how I mastered using Dante, and any character really. If you like someone in the game you have to learn their BnB's.
I went from being trash at this game and being smoked by my two friends to actually becoming quite skilled and being able to hold my own against them after I started practicing and taking the combos more seriously.
The BnBs will change your whole game, and they are just the beginning, because once you feel comfortable with those you get more comfortable trying new combos and strategies.

You could swap out jam sesssion with reverb shock, and then you can whip in a fireworks, than get the HC
yes that’s exactly what i was trying to do but every time i did fireworks it would just side switch to the opposite direction of dr doom
not bad for a start, just remember that you're limited by ground bounces (except when you're not) and wall bounces. Experiment with the gun mashing mechanics. Use assists. Dante is great for combo crafting but a bit hard to master. Takes a while to learn how to bold cancel. But if you keep trying new stuff you'll be surprised by what you can get away with

While basic its awesome to find little routes like this for when you find a stray hit in a match! Try L,M,H,S, jump, M,H, dive kick, bee hive, million dollars. Easy bnb!

When you hit with a hammer you should go for prop shredder first, and after relaunch hammer again, then do volcano into super.
Jam session isn't reliable in combos outside x factor lvl 3 loops in the corner.
You also wanna mash more than 1 button during your super for more damage
but wait how would i be able to do prop shredder without doing the thing where you mash H?

oh yeah also jam session is a multi hit special so i just did it so i could increase the hit number lol
