In response to the volume of rule infractions in the past months, we've taken a cue from world governments and their response to COVID-19. We have implemented a quarantine on all new submissions. In effect, only those posts manually approved by the mod team will make it through. These measures have been taken for two reasons:

It's easier to approve 10% of posts than to remove, flair, and ban users for 90% of posts.

It promotes quality submissions. Certain undesirable posts were escaping mod attention, and they led users to believe that certain offending content was actually acceptable here. We believe that by seeing better quality submissions, users will be inclined to model them.
Important to note that this has nothing to do with the admins and their quarantine tool for subs. We had noticed an uptick in the anti-evil team at reddit removing posts (approximately 5 times in the last 90 days vs. never), but that has not been a cause for concern.
How to Make a True5050 Post
Use 5050.stannaz or 5050.lowyiyiu to generate the link.
Please note that posts which include porn, cute animals, and spoilers must be in true 5050 format.

My only problem with this is the amount of new posts is dropped, as of currently the last post was 22 hours ago.

Every post on this sub gets put into purgatory. We manually sort through them. You only see the ones we approve as compliant.
You will see fewer posts overall, but they will be compliant with the rules. You'll see less garbage.

Most posts don't feel rewarding, it should be "blessed" thing and "cursed" thing right? But why is it a mundane thing and the cursed thing? Did I get it wrong and I'm just too whiny or there is someone else that would like to have better sfw things?

The whole point of the post is to make a joke based on wordplay, and a joke becomes less funny when you explain it. Like that early post on 5050, chicks in a blender/chicks near a blender.

As in someone will look at the true 5050 format and go "Okay, since they used 5050Desu (or whatever it's called) that means they'll know what it isn't, would be like posting a NSFW 5050 but the link is obviously YouTube so you know which is which.
If they use a true 5050 link, it has to be possible to get both options. That's the point of it being true 5050. It is impossible to discern which result you'll get ahead of time.
