Take My Wife (ITV 1979, Duggie Brown, Elisabeth Sladen)
Sitcom Take My Wife detailed the misadventures of struggling stand up comic Harvey Hill. His agent, Maurice Watkins is sure Harvey is destined for the big time but does have a clue how to get him there.
Meanwhile Harvey’s home life is a little difficult too, his wife can’t understand his ambitions and his upper-class mother-in-law is none too impressed either. Duggie Brown was a real life stand up comic whilst Elisabeth Sladen is one of the best loved Doctor Who companions.
