These are the films that audiences thought were the best out of Sheehan's filmography.

Centering around the conspiracy theory of the faking of the moon landing, the film is set in the 1960s. Perlman plays an unstable CIA agent who enlists the help of Grint's character Johnny, a struggling rock band manager, and Sheehan's character Leon, who poses as Stanley Kubrick, in order to help him pull off the biggest con of all time- staging the moon landing.

Mortal Engines- 6.1

Not to be confused with a previous work of Sheehan's, Mortal Instruments, Sheehan plays outcast and love interest Tom Natsworthy in this 2018 post-apocalyptical YA book adaptation. Focusing its story around mysterious protagonist Hester Shaw, who is intent on stopping a conspiracy surrounding their world which has found itself living in roaming cities (as in literally steampunk cities on wheels) that battle and consume each other to survive.

Another overall rating of 6.1 on IMDB but this time based on over 121,000 reviews. Some audiences, despite enjoying the film, weren't blown away, comparing it to other films in the YA genre while others praised it for its original ideas and stunning visuals.

The Borrowers- 6.3

Robert Sheehan is Spiller in this 2011 adaptation of the much-loved children's fantasy novel of the same name. For fans unfamiliar with the plot, a 'borrower' is a four-inch high person who lives under the floorboards of people's homes. This family comedy received a modest rating of 6.3 on IMDB based on around 1,600 audience reviews. While fans expressed their enjoyment of the film, others couldn't help but compare it to its previous adaptions, The Borrowers (1997) and Arietty (2010).

Bad Samaritan- 6.5

Red Riding 1974- 7.0

Receiving an overall rating of 7.0/10 based on over 12,500 audience reviews, many fans praised the film for its strong atmosphere and dark tone, as well as outstanding performances.

Red Riding 1980- 7.1

The Road Within- 7.1

The highest rating out of the trilogy, this film received a 7.2 on IMDB based on over 7,700 reviews. Fans gave this concluding film high praise for its dark and haunting tone and excellent closure.

Incidentally, the highest rating film according to IMDB of all of Robert Sheehan's work is also his very first role. Based on a true story, this 2003 drama follows a teacher's journey to reform a sadistic regime of abuse over a Catholic Reformatory School in 1939 Ireland. Only 14 years old in this role, Sheehan's role isn't a major one but it is still interesting to see how far this Irish actor has come.

Rated a 7.6/10 on IMDB based on over 4,100 audience reviews, the film was praised for its performances and hard-hitting, chilling and poignant storytelling.
