Robert was very friendly and knowledgeable, pointing out all the best spots along the way. Mentor did a great job of driving us around some pretty tricky spots and I felt very safe at all times. I will definitely be doing this trip again with my son next year! The experience, the visuals and the environment are amazing. I could spend my entire summer there, but I still want more. Oxford brings an awe. Looking at the old college building, I just wanted to come to Oxford and study again, even though I hate studying. It's worth going to these places.
The extra star in my review is simply for James, our tour guide. He was a delight. He had so many stories to share and he's a master storyteller. He never seems rushed or flustered. The best thing about him was that he seemed more interested in telling us about the places than in us knowing about the places. Wonderful person and guide. Highly recommended and if you got to change your date to get him as your tour guide? A delightful getaway during our trip to London to see the countryside villages of Cotswolds. Our adventure began in Burford village visiting the shops and having tea and breakfast desert at a quaint bakery. From there our travel led to Bibery, “the prettiest village in Britain “. A 2 course lunch was at the cozy Swan Hotel. Final stop for us was at Bourton on the Water, a quite lovely village of shops pubs, and eateries of all sorts. Our tour guide,Nicholas, was wonderful. Whose humor would ofttimes tickle us.
He was gracious as gold

- Brian H1 contributionFantastic tour with a great tour guide (Oliver) and smooth driver (Jordan). We read reviews beforehand, so we were prepared to be rushed around from place to place. It was a great way to see many sights as a day trip from London without worrying about navigation. Oliver made sure we saw everything we paid for and gave us some good laughs. He is knowledgeable, humor, friendly and really shows a whole lot of passion towards his work and Cotswolds the place itself. couldn't rate him any better! The tour itself is very good although it might be a bit intense and you might get a bit motion sickness when the van is going really fast in the country roads, but for us our timeframe in the area is quite limited which makes the itinery perfect for us. Warwick Castle was a letdown after being there 25 years ago before it was turned into a theme park. To me, it has lost its charm.
Stratford upon Avon is a darling town, although again such a tourist hype. There was very little time to explore the old town or walk along the Stratford upon Avon. It was interesting to see Shakespeare‘s birthplace, but wish there was a little more time to explore the city.
The Cotswolds are beautiful but dont blink!
Oxford was fascinating. Loved all the info from Stefan. No time to explore but saw the highlights.

I really enjoyed not having to drive on the opposite side of the road and try to find parking in all the towns. - Julie9 contributionsFirst of all, Cotswold should not be included in the title of the tour because we just drove thru it not stop by it. Secondly, the directions to the meeting place for the coach needs to say that you will be entering the bus station to go to the gate. Next, there were 3 different tours leaving at the same time & the tour assistants were basing their guide names by numbers while us passengers are basing the tours on the name. There were directing here & there. So, people were going to the wrong line or bus. There needs to be a better way of boarding the groups for their correct tours. Thanks to Christian our driver who got us where we needed to go and back to London safely in the rain. Our guide Zozo was great. Very informative and not boring. Only thing is sometimes the directions for meeting back at the coach were so fast and need to be reinforced. - Aidana J3 contributionsOn holiday in the UK from New Zealand, we’d heard all the hype about The Cotswolds and wanted to see what it was all about. Well, it really didn’t disappoint, it is amazing! So many beautiful historic towns and villages in lovely countryside. Great shops and food (Lucy’s tearoom and Broadway deli) Johnnie was great, really knowledgeable and enthusiastic and went out of his way to show us everything we wanted to see.
