Enjoyed dining here once we got checked into our room. Great staff! Delicious salads and soup for dinner which was our choice as we wanted something healthy. My husband had the farmhouse and I had the mandarin chicken. Excellent. We enjoyed breakfast here the next morning too which was delicious.

This place is on the property of the hotel so it is convenient and the do have some good craft beers. The food was ok and the staff was attentive.

After a long road day,it was nice not having to go looking for something,with the restaurant on property,it was a no brainer to use it!,it was actually real food,fresh,etc,the only thing I would say ( as in a lot of restaurants,that the food needs to be much warmer..) not lukewarm to cool..

We stopped for lunch. They were out of grilled chicken breast, so that was disappointing. Otherwise, service was great and food was good.

The restaurant is staffed by energetic youngsters who try very hard and really hustle. They are delightful. The kitchen should be declared a toxic waste site. My clam chowder had the consistency of caulking compound. I was told that it thickens up after a while. So does concrete. Someone should tell the chef that prime rib is not pan fried. It was a cut taken from between the horns of an elderly steer. The baked potato tasted like the tin foil it was cooked in. We were lucky to survive this disaster of a meal.

I ate at The Wood multiple times while on vacation in Glasgow. The staff was always friendly and the food was always very good. I will eat there again on my next trip to Glasgow.

According to my ticket employee 11 was my server I won't mention her name. So I ordered a western omelette no ham add jalapenos with a side of bacon no potatoes no bread. So I get my order and start to eat this omelette and noticed it tasted funny kinda like it was cooked on a propane grill and noticed it had no meat in it. So i picked apart the whole thing and noticed all it had was vegetables and they tasted like propane and no jalapenos either. So she finally comes over and I say to #11 I think they forgot to put the meat in my omelette and that I ordered the western omelette. She told me that the western omelette only comes with ham and that I ordered the wrong thing. So I thought I had made a mistake and left it at that. Then a couple hours went by and I realized that an omelette with only ham is a Denver omelette. So I just looked at the menu and the western omelette has 3 meats which one was ham. So in closing this review I figured out I wasn't losing my mind and that #11 either doesn't know the menu or made a mistake and didn't want to admit it. I ate the bacon which was good but couldn't eat but a couple of bites of the omelette because of the propane taste. So almost $15 for four slices of bacon a couple bites of omelette and coffee.

Stopped in here with my brother recently. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The soups are homemade and delicious. Great salad bar, homemade dressings. Good beer selection, several Montana beers on tap. Very reasonable prices.

We had a late breakfast in the restaurant. The service was slow thru the meal was when I wanted to pay for our meal the waiter disappeared so I ended up putting room info on bill and charging to our room. Walking out the waiter come out and was putting phone in pocket. that explained that.
At night we ate in the lounge and it was busy. The staff experience was just the opposite of what we had in the restaurant, the waitress, bartender and another gentleman were constantly walking around engaging customers, ensuring we didn't need anything and everything was good. oh ya, the food was good.

Visiting with family for a few days at the hotel. Breakfasts were reasonable, but far preferred DJs for quality and quantity as well as price. Suppers were average, although the steaks were cooked as requested. Walleye fillet was full of bones, which was a surprise. Wine list weak but adequate.

My husband & I stopped in late on a Thursday night in August after driving through Montana all day. The servers are outstanding. Friendly, attentive & helpful. The menu has a good selection of pub-style food. We ordered the deep fried cheese curds with dipping sauce (yummy), the buffalo chicken wrap (just okay) and the chicken fried steak (okay). We weren't rushed. Clean restaurant. Lots of seating choices. Adjacent bar/lounge was hopping. Average food. Nothing surprising or unexpected. The servers were the best part.

The Wood Restaraunt has a extensive menu and fair prices. You can have a drink from the bar as you dine.

For the small town of Glasgow, Montana, they have first class service in the restaurant. Excellent food and the waiter and waitresses were on top of their game without going overboard. They were very willing to substitute items on the menu if it did not work for you.
