The Old Tsan Yuk Maternity Hospital is a grade III historical building (2009) located along Western Street in Sai Ying Pun. This is one of the heritage attractions (#16) along the Western District and Peak Heritage Trail (Route B) that functions today as a Community Centre for the Western District.
Completed in 1922, the hospital building is British colonial style with an orange brick exterior and a Neo-classical entrance fronted by simple columns with a simple pediment atop the entryway. You can view the historic building and entrance well while walking along Western Street. Then continue on with other sightseeing intentions you might have in the area.
