There will be fun and engaging group exercises to help you break out of your comfort zone. Don't worry, everyone will be doing it together! You will learn how to prepare for performing in front of others. If you're already a good speaker, great, and if you are still working on your speaking confidence that's why we are doing this! You will get help accelerating your confidence from the inside out in order to make sure you feel comfortable and secure when performing.

Week 2:

You will learn the Initial-Read Technique with script material you bring to class. (You will be shown exactly where to find the best material to work on in Week 1) Again, no need to worry.. For this step you don't have to act, just feel out the material and learn a specific way to hold the script so that you can find everything needed to feel your most confident and eventually learn your lines in the easiest and fastest way possible. Plus more group exercises that help you to feel free and comfortable speaking with the script.

Week 3:

Preparation & Rehearsal. You will be guided through this and learn how to prepare inorder to give your best performance possible. Maybe it's your very first time up in front of people or maybe you have some experience, either is fine. We will make sure to give you the space you need to open up and go for it. After your performance I will provide you with notes and adjustments that you will bring to your performance in Week 4.

Week 4:

First Performance. You will receive expert critique and feedback on your acting abilities. This will open up your eyes to what being an actor is all about.. everyone will be given time to ask questions and gain a deeper understanding on how to improve and prepare better.

Week 5:

You will receive expert critique and feedback on your acting abilities and learn how to perfect your performance.

Week 6:

You will receive expert critique and feedback on your acting abilities. We will discuss what's next in terms of continuing with your training and where to find jobs and how to audition like a professional every time. Special Q&A session.
