    At the Halfway Inn, we pride ourselves on offering delicious dishes and a comfortable atmosphere. Our cosy dining areas complete with log burning fires, flagstone floors and wattle and daub walls, make for the perfect place to enjoy a spot to eat. During the summer months, our beautifully bright airy garden room and extensive outside seating areas are perfectly positioned for guests to dine al ’fresco. We’ve got everyone’s taste buds covered, from traditional pub classics like our Beer Battered Fish and Chips to our speciality dishes like our Vegan Five Bean and Lentil Chilli.

    We were given a very warm welcome and service was excellent, even though a note on the door explained they were short staffed. Food was freshly cooked and arrived hot! Good menu choice. Tables were spacious with plenty of room for the dog underneath. Value for money! Will definitely go again before we leave.

    The best home made cooked food we have ever had the pleasure to eat in a pub. Congratulations to the chef for an amazing meal.

    Nice Sunday roast and delicious fish and chips. Table rather in a main thoroughfare and quite a dark area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quick service. Childrens play area rather damp and muddy.

    We had a fabulous meal. A little bit disappointed that the S&K pud was unavailable that evening but everything we ate was excellent. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. The cost for 6 people was exceptionally good value. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

    Great food, plenty of choice. Arrived pretty quick. Staff friendly and helpful. Great beer garden & lovely park for the kids to play in.

    Stunning food, lovely staff, real ale and we could take our dogs in, perfect place for a perfect family evening - you won’t be disappointed.

    Food was excellent and was served on time considering they were very busy . Always a nice welcome from Paul . ( landlord) Portions were large ! Will use regularly
