I have been the to The Cookery a few times. I took my family here for an early Mother's Day brunch on Saturday. When we were seated, only a few other tables and it took forever to get drinks and then our food. Our server was great but they were under staffed. My burger was cold and did not complain but I think this was the last time with kids and brunch. It's not really kid friendly either. Perfect for couples but not families with young kids. I think this weekend was an anomoly because The Cookery was great on prior visits. Thank you.

We tried the restaurant midweek because the indoor noise levels are very high on weekends. Food was overall disappointing. The kale salad featured wonderful ingredients and has high potential to be outstanding, but was very salty. The Bronzino tasted fresh and was excellent but the accompanying roasted cabbage was overly salted. The service was warm, friendly and very accommodating. Hopefully this was an off night. It is obvious that The Cookery is a popular place as it was crowded mid week. I will also add that the outside dining area is located on a quiet street - very pleasant to sit out there though it was full so we dined inside.

My family and I enjoyed brunch at the Cookery. Highlights were the crispy pork with a poached egg and cheesy polenta, the chicken, pasta and egg Milanese sandwich. The Bloody Mary was delicious and included.

Unbelievable food, best in Westchester far and away, and the best NYC restaurants. Octopus and Bronzino is incredible. Fun atmosphere and outstanding service.
