'Try Guys': Ned Fulmer Cheating Scandal Timeline

The Try Guys have broken down the timeline of the Ned Fulmer cheating scandal in a new video released on Monday.

Fulmer, one quarter of the YouTube group alongside Eugene Lee Yang, Keith Habersberger and Zach Kornfield, was at the center of a scandal on September 27 after it emerged he had an extramarital affair.

Fulmer, 35, who is married, was accused of having an extramarital relationship with Alexandria Herring—an associate producer of The Try Guys—after images allegedly showing the two kissing in a New York City bar surfaced online.

The affair proved quite shocking to fans as Fulmer, a known "wife guy," had famously branded himself as a devoted husband and father of two.

Now, in their latest video, Yang, Habersberger and Kornfield gave the timeline of events that led to the scandal emerging, and Fulmer's subsequent removal from the group.

The remaining trio said to fans that they had no clue about the affair until Labor Day weekend on September 5 and that Fulmer was "immediately" removed from all work activities once they found out.

"On Labor Day weekend, multiple fans alerted us that they had seen Ned and an employee engaging in public romantic behavior," Habersberger, 35, began in the video, simply titled, "what happened."

Habersberger said: "We reached out to check on that employee. Ned confirmed the reports."

The group said they were shocked to learn that the affair had been going on for some time.

Yang, 36, then said that "thus began a three-week process of engaging with employment lawyers, corporate lawyers, HR, PR and more, in order to make sure we were taking all the necessary steps from the jump."

"We refused to sweep things under the rug," Yang said. "That is not who we are and is not what we stand for."

After a review, Fulmer was found to have "engaged in conduct unbecoming of our team," Habersberger said. "We knew that we could not move forward with him. So, on Friday, September 16, the three of us signed written consent of the members of the 2nd Try LLC approving the removal of Ned as a manager and employee."

Eleven days later, on September 27, Fulmer publicly admitted to having an extramarital relationship, and said in a statement that he "lost focus" and "had a consensual workplace relationship."

"I'm sorry for any pain that my actions may have caused to the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel," Fulmer said. "The only thing that matters right now is my marriage and my children, and that's where I am going to focus my attention."

The group said that they are "incredibly shocked and deeply hurt" by the situation, with Kornfield, 32, adding: "We feel saddened not just personally, but on behalf of our staff and our fans who believed in us. I don't know that we'll ever be able to fully articulate the pain."

The group said that Fulmer will be edited out of footage that the group had shot prior to his departure, but several videos are now "fully unrelease-able" as a result.

"That's a decision that has cost us lots of money. We'll not be able to recoup that money, but it's a decision," Kornfield said, before apologizing to fans on behalf of the group. "We're sorry that this ever happened."

Kornfield added: "Thank you for your support. We appreciate you, and we look forward to introducing you to the next era of The Try Guys ahead."
