(KNSI) — Former President and presumptive Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump will visit Minnesota on May 17th.

House Majority Whip and Sixth District Congressman Tom Emmer and Minnesota Republican Party Chairman David Hann are hosting President Trump for the state GOP’s 2024 Lincoln Regan Dinner. Emmer is also Trump’s Minnesota Campaign Chair. “I could not be more excited to host President Trump and officially kick off our 2024 campaign,” said Emmer. “Joe Biden’s failed policies are showing Minnesotans each day that President Trump is the only choice to lead our country forward. Let’s put America First and win in November.”

“We are thrilled to welcome President Trump back to Minnesota to headline our Lincoln Reagan dinner, an annual tradition that reminds us of the roots of our Party and the leaders who have been most impactful in promoting our American values. I can think of no one more fitting to join us this year than President Trump,” said Hann.

The dinner is in St. Paul. Specific details weren’t initially given but would be provided to ticketholders before the event. General dinner tickets are $500 per person, and VIP dinner tickets with a VIP reception are $2,500 per person.

The hush money trial against Trump will resume on Monday after he received special permission from the judge to leave Manhattan to attend his son Baron Trump’s high school graduation Friday morning.
