Yes
Grab a pack of steam emulators from somewhere and when you get a warning, throw your own at the game. You'll get a piece of mind, and you'll know you can "crack" games on your own in the future. It is worthwhile to do on games you own in case of server failure, or whatever. Be prepared.
FitGirl had an issue with an authorized rehoster, where he was injecting malware into the repacks, but he's long gone now. I'd say FitGirl's repacks are one of the best out there.

You should download the full Skidrow release if you have doubt that Fitgirl installed malware in your computer.
BTW the release is from 2015. I doubt there were any major crypto miner back then.
