Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online The Princess and the Frog will certainly be remembered years later as not only a pioneer Disney movie, but also one that allowed audiences to never let go of their dreams and that with love anything is possible, no matter your age or color. Rated: A Sep 12, 2017 Full Review Dwight Brown National Newspaper Publishers Association A story everyone can enjoy. Nov 8, 2016 Full Review Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald The backgrounds are beautifully drawn. There are sunny days in the French Quarter, spooky nights among live oaks hung with Spanish moss, and a rousing denouement at the Mardi Gras. Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 7, 2014 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review The Princess and the Frog represents a welcome return for Disney and a beacon of cartoon light that the company should aspire to with every new effort. Rated: 3.5/4 Aug 28, 2023 Full Review Carson Timar ButteredPopcorn The narrative is largely dull and the representation ranges from overdue to problematic. While the film still has a charm, specifically in its visuals, the overall viewing experience is more average than anything else. Jan 25, 2023 Full Review Sean Collier Box Office Prophets The Princess and the Frog is indeed good-not-great, as its considerable merits ... are weighed against a circuitous, unsatisfying plot. Logan D Dem three stoogies in the bayou had me cackling. Started slow but warmed up. Music was alright. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/16/24 Full Review Isabela W This film talks about a simple and dreamy girl named Tiana and Prince Naveen, who goes to Tiana's city to marry the princess. Naveen, during his exploration to get to know the city, ends up encountering Doctor Faciler, who convinces the prince to take a potion that transforms him into a frog so the Doctor can take possession of his body to marry the princess. Seeing this, Naveen runs to the castle in search of a princess, since only her kisses would turn him back into a human, but he ends up finding Tiana, who was not the princess, and convinces her to give him a kiss, however when she does this, Tiana ends up turning into a frog. With that, the two end up going on a fascinating adventure after Doctor Faciler to transform them back into humans. This film is certainly among my favorites because in addition to the characters being very well created, the story and the message that the film conveys is incredible. Princess and the Frog is one of Disney's best animations and is very well planned and produced, telling the story of one of Disney's greatest princesses, Tiana. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Jake B Personally my favorite Disney Princess Movie. The animation is amazing and so are the songs. Even if it can feel a bit bland at sometimes, the overall magic of this movie makes up for it. I also just love the characters.
