Purchase options and add-ons
Time management is a worn-out cliché that needs to be replaced.
People manage their time, but they continue to manage it poorly. Life is populated with a series of reactive responses to personal priorities and professional needs. Individuals do not control their calendar; the calendar controls them. Until there is a clear understanding that true productivity begins when the narrative is switched to a proactive mindset, 82% will continue to wallow in time managed obscurity.
The Time Optimized Life reframes the reactive nature of time management and replaces it with a proactive method of time optimization. Drawing from exclusive data captured by a tool called the Time Management Analysis (TMA), the book walks the reader through a comprehensive system that is easily adaptable to a particular personality or experience level.
Using it as a complete time overhaul, The Time Optimized Life allows the reader the flexibility to create a time optimization plan that meets their essential needs. Operating with tools readily available to them today, the book will change perceptions of the individual and their approach to the use of their time, without having to invest in new gadgets or software.
Time is a commodity and resource that does not stop. It can’t be reversed, and you can’t go back and get more. Investing time reading and applying the content in The Time Optimized Life will help the reader make the future feel more infinite.

Review
"The Time-Optimized Life, co-authored by David Buck and Rev. Dr. Susan Rose, presents a practical and insightful guide to effective time management. This book distinguishes itself from other titles in the self-help genre by adopting an approachable and relatable tone, making it accessible to a broad audience. The authors combine their professional expertise with spiritual insights and personal experiences, creating a narrative that resonates across various cultural backgrounds.
One of the book's key features is the Time Management Analysis (TMA) tool, which provides a structured and scientifically grounded framework for understanding and applying time management principles. Buck's engaging writing style, which includes anecdotes and personal insights, complements the technical aspects of the TMA tool, making the content both informative and enjoyable to read. A significant portion of the book is dedicated to exploring the three pillars of time optimization: Preparation, Execution, and Control (PEC). This thorough and insightful exploration offers readers practical strategies for each component. Additionally, the book acknowledges and addresses common challenges in time management, providing actionable checklists and solutions. Rev. Dr. Susan Rose's contribution is particularly noteworthy as she delves into the often-overlooked topic of women's perspectives on time management. Her insights add a valuable dimension to the discussion, broadening the book's appeal and relevance.
The Time-Optimized Life is characterized by its holistic approach to time management. It goes beyond mere goal-setting and efficiency, emphasizing self-care and personal growth. The book is inclusive and adaptable, encouraging readers from various walks of life, including corporate employees, students, and others, to tailor the principles to their individual needs and circumstances. Buck and Rose's book is more than just a guide; it's a journey towards transforming one's relationship with time, offering readers the tools to turn their finite time into meaningful and productive experiences." - Literary Titan

I am honored that he not only appreciates my work but also included it in his latest masterpiece, The Time-Optimized Life Dave Buck is not just a Guru; he's a beacon of inspiration, making an indelible mark on the world of time mastery." - Brig. Sushil Bhasin, Author of Million Dollar Second
"The Time-Optimized Life: Moving Everyday Preparation, Execution, and Control from Finite to Infinite by David Buck and Rev. Dr. Susan Rose is a game-changer in the realm of personal productivity and time management. In a world where traditional time management methods often fall short, this book introduces a refreshing perspective that goes beyond clichés and transforms the way we approach our daily lives.
The authors assert that time management, as we know it, needs to evolve into time optimization, and they deliver on this promise with a comprehensive system outlined in the book. The Time Management Analysis (TMA) tool, backed by exclusive data, becomes a guiding light for readers, helping them transition from reactive responses to proactive strategies. This shift is crucial, as it empowers individuals to take control of their calendars rather than being controlled by them.
One of the book's strengths lies in its adaptability. The authors recognize that one size doesn't fit all, and they provide a system that can be easily tailored to individual personalities and experience levels. The Time Optimized Life isn't just a read; it's a practical guide for a complete time overhaul, utilizing tools that are readily available today, without the need for additional gadgets or software.
The emphasis on the finite nature of time is a sobering reminder, and the book encourages readers to invest their time wisely in understanding and applying the principles presented. The prospect of making the future feel more infinite by optimizing one's time is a compelling motivation that resonates throughout the book.
In essence, The Time-Optimized Life is a timely and transformative resource for anyone seeking to break free from the shackles of traditional time management and embrace a proactive and personalized approach to living a more fulfilling and purposeful life. Buck and Rev. Dr. Susan Rose provide not just a book but a blueprint for a profound shift in how we navigate our precious and limited resource - time. Highly recommended for those ready to unlock the secrets to a more meaningful and time-optimized existence."

His theory of Preparation, Execution and Control changed my approach to the way I manage my day.
He speaks of blending your personal and professional tasks and prioritizing them to accomplish the most important ones against your current demand and obligations. This compliments his belief that micro-tasking is more productive than multi-tasking. It is difficult to do a job well if you are not giving it your full attention.
Personal goals should be broken down into different lists depending on how long it will take to prepare for them. Life Purpose Statement, Bucket List, Long Term, Annual and Short term became new ways for me to plan.
His wife, Rev. Dr. Susan Rose, also has a chapter in the book where she gives another perspective on time-optimization.
There is so much to glean from this book.
I always thought of myself as a very organized person and list maker, but I have personally started incorporating these techniques into my planning. I feel it has helped me prepare, execute and have more control over my days.
I plan to re-read the book to make sure I haven't missed anything.
I recommend this book to anyone looking to change your approach to managing your time.

Dave Buck shows us how optimizing our time comes down to three words: preparation, execution, and control. From discussing the time management practices of Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk to sharing examples from his own family, Dave gives us a roadmap for optimizing our most precious resource...time.
