Malindo Air (OD) is a low-cost carrier based in Malaysia. The airline operates from a hub at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL), with a secondary hub at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB). It began operations in 2013. Malindo Air flies to about 30 destinations, including 14 points within Malaysia, two in Bangladesh, five in India, six in Indonesia, one in Nepal, two in Thailand and one in Singapore. Its fleet of 23 aircraft includes ATR 72-600, Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900ER planes with one-cabin (Economy Class) and two-cabin (Business Class and Economy Class) configurations.

Won’t use again.
Very poor flight. Hardly any room on the flights, staff were terrible and uninterested. Flown multiple airlines over the years from international to domestic and in all honesty ,bar us getting both to and from destinations on time/early, I think this mob were the worst airline I have flew.…

The most horrible service I have ever received .
The flight to Bali was ok, not really much to complain about there but a day after I arrived I had a sudden unexpected change of plans and had to cancel my flight I had booked to Borneo and also change my flight back to Brisbane. It’s been 4 weeks now and I am still unable to get a clear cut answer as to the progress of my refund!.. or if I’m even going to get one!?.. This is by far the WORST service I have ever received by an airline or any company for that matter!… I STRONGLY suggest choosing another airline if ever you are flying to or from or within Indonesia. Even if you need to pay more, trust me, it’ll be worth it. Absolutely horrible service!..…

Worse taste and over price food in flight.
Food is too pricey to purchase in flight. Plus the taste, quality and portion is really bad.Horrible food for RM 25. Really hope, batik air would improve the food price, choices and quality.

Good comfortable experience
The flight was very comfortable, flight attendants were polite and helpful. I traveled with my toddler who turned 2 a day before we left KL and I was very anxious before my flight. However, right from the check in to landing we were very happy.

One of the worst for reliability
When I last flew business class with Malindo it was a real rip-off and I swore I would never fly with them again, I succumbed to pressure from travel partners and decided to try the economy class flight offering----Well that is it never again ! Apart from the generous leg room for economy the delays and cancellations turned what should of been a very enjoyable flight into a nightmare. The pre booked food all seemed to work out quite well and the quality was as you would expect for a super budget airline. If you have any other option than Malindo, take it.…
