Let me start by saying that I love Trentino Alto Adige but I will never return to Valdaora where total disorganization reigns. It is not the ideal place for families and now I will explain why. First of all, given the total disorganization it is not possible to do activities other than skiing although the tourist company provides several. All the proposed times are incompatible especially for those with young children. If you are not a skier but have children who go to ski school you cannot do absolutely NOTHING (the courses do not start before 10.30am and end around 2.30pm) so whether you want to go on a snowshoe hike starting at 8.30am or 9.30am you cannot it can be done. You can't even do those activities from 1.30pm because they end at 4pm... So you can't do absolutely anything except wait for the children since there isn't a babysitting service even if you pay for it, there is a sort of mini club with inappropriate opening hours which in fact do not allow you to take part in any excursion as the service (the only one found is that of the krono ski school) is from 11am to 3pm maximum... moreover the service is very questionable given that a friend of ours seven months pregnant, she wanted to leave the baby but told us that the children are left to play alone all the time, the apathetic educators limit themselves to watching and picking them up since they continuously cry repeatedly, they don't do an activity , they don't sing a song, they don't even take them out to play (despite them saying otherwise).
Not to mention the disorganization of the ski buses which are packed at any time, so much so that after a long wait they don't even stop. To be able to resume you practically have to go to the valley formations which are still full of people waiting and when you get into these cattle wagons there is no mercy even for the children. People tug at you to get them and make their way with sticks without caring about the little children below. Throughout the journey you can feel the nervousness of fathers arguing with mothers, mothers insulting their husbands, in short, a totally stressful and uncomfortable climate. Disorganization is rampant. If you want to send your child to ski school you are forced to buy a very expensive ski pass to take him up to the top. In fact, while the schools are also located in the Valley, a service has not been designed to bring the children, all obviously to benefit the managers of the facilities. If you want to pay for individual trips to bring the children it is practically madness because the single ticket is very expensive and paradoxically it is better to get the weekly ski pass (and you pay dearly and I repeat only to take the child to lessons).
Let's not talk about the long queues for the purchase of the ski pass or for the rental of skis as well as for the insurance that could generally be obtained when purchasing the ski pass but after a long queue at the counter they told us that it can only be done on -line. Last year we went to Val d'Aosta and the insurance was included for a negligible amount either in the ski pass or in the ski rental. Even from this point of view, Val D'Aosta is definitely ahead. If you rent skis at the end of the day you can leave them at the shop. Here in Valdaora this service, which would be logical in itself, is not provided. We rented the skis to the child at the Krono ski school shop and every time we are forced to bring them back to the valley together with the helmet and boots otherwise we obviously have to give him more money... We will certainly put a stop to this part of Trentino Alto Adige. I'm sorry to say but the Aosta Valley is much more organised, you can have much more relaxed, organized and above all much cheaper holidays. The tourist is not seen as a chicken to be plucked. Just for the rent of the apartment here in Trentino we paid 1200 euros for a week (and it was one of the cheapest since I refused to give 3500 for a mid-range hotel room) to which extortion was added of two ski passes to take the child to school (paid another 460 euros with the equipment to carry on your back every day).... a holiday to forget

In Valdaora di mezzo, in a fantastic hotel, we spent a very pleasant week. A very well-kept town where you meet people on the street who greet you with a smile. Excellent handling. Convenient train station.

For the little ones who enjoy playing on slides, more or less long, and water games, but also for the adults who can relax on the benches in the sun.

We were in Valdaora attracted by the street food festival. Very nice super organized party with many food stands with varied offers with fair prices.

Bellissimo e ben tenuto parco giochi , ho visto bimbi divertirsi e imparare e illuminarsi di gioia per le scoperte fatte giocando . Bellissimo e agevole il percorso fra le diverse aree dove tutto è ben segnalato e facile da raggiungere dai diversi parcheggi .

Tanti giochi ben tenuti in mezzo al bosco, si parte dal basso per poi salire fino all'ultima parte con la zona arrampicata, molto carino dal paese di Valdaora si può raggiungere a piedi con tranquillità anche con i bambini.

Bellissimo parco a Valdaora dove c è uno scivolo lunghissimo e tanti giochi per bambini immersi nel bosco. Un posto magico dove trascorrere ore allegre coi figli e divertirsi provando anche qualche attrazione.

Parco adatto a famiglie con bambini situato nel bosco con ingresso da Valdaora di Sopra Comodo parcheggio. Giochi d'acqua, reti, lunghi scivoli. Consigliato per una mezza giornata.

Un parco giochi immerso nel bosco diviso in tappe. Si fa un bel giro sui sentieri e i bambini si divertono con tanti giochi tutti diversi, attenzione però al grande scivolo che è vietato ai minori di 10 anni. Di fianco scorre un torrente e ci sono tante panchine per fermarsi a riposare mentre i bambini si divertono. Assolutamente da vedere!

Ci sono stata nel periodo di settembre, il parco è ad accesso libero e per la neve Controlla se ve ne è nel paese e sicuramente sarà anche lì...

“Buongiorno,ho prenotato x questa zona da domani fino a domenica. Vorremmo visitare il parco sabato e domenica ma avendo una bimba di 5 anni non so come ci dobbiamo equipaggiare. Secondo voi, considerato il periodo, il clima ma soprattutto le temperature come ci dobbiamo vestire?”

per quanto riguarda "l'equipaggiamento"...non ne serve uno particolare. è un parco con delle attività ma non serve un particolare equipaggiamento. Abiti comodi e che si possono sporcare. per quanto riguarda il clima e vestiario, regolatevi in base alle alle temperature e al meteo, come fareste x una semplice passeggiata.

Buongiorno io ho prenotato in zona nel weekend 11-13 maggio.
1) Pensate che il tempo e le temperature siano adatte x il parco all'aperto con una bimba di 5 anni?
2) ci sono dei punti di ristoro all'interno del parco?
3) più o meno quanto tempo prevede la permanenza media? Abbiamo tutto il sabato e la domenica mattina e vorremmo vedere anche il lago di Braies.

Il parco è tutto all’ombra e particolarmente umido. Per i bimbi piccoli rischia di essere ancora troppo freddo.
Non ci sono punti ristoro. È un sentiero in mezzo al bosco con alcune aree di gioco.
Con la mia bimba di 7 anni sono rimasta al massimo 1.30 h. L’umidità era importante (novembre).

Ciao Cecilia! La stazione si trova a Valdaora di mezzo, il parco a valdaora di sopra.
Esci da dietro alla stazione, non dal parcheggio, c'è una pedonale/ciclabile che tenendoti i binari sulla sinistra ti avvicina più rapidamente alla tua meta.
Devi arrivare fino ad un bivio a valdaora di mezzo, di fronte ad una macelleria: se giri a destra vai in piazza a Valdaora di mezzo, tu devi girare a sinistra seguendo per valdaora di sopra.
Qui è sempre dritta sulla strada principale per quasi un km in lieve salita finché ti trovi un ponticello sulla sinistra: non lo prendere e prosegui sulla strada che devia leggermente a destra.
Avanti 100 metri troverai i cartelli che ti indicano l'accesso a Mondo Bimbi verso il bosco, buon divertimento!
