Glee grad Heather Morris will look to make beautiful music with So Help Me Todd‘s titular investigator when she boards the CBS dramedy for Season 2.

Starring Skylar Astin in the title role, So Help Me Todd follows a disgraced-but-lovable private detective who works to repair his damaged career — with extremely mixed results — by assisting with major cases at his mother’s (Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden) law firm. The series’ cast also includes Madeline Wise as Todd’s sister Allison, Tristen J. Winger as investigator Lyle, Inga Schlingmann as Todd’s lawyerly ex-girlfriend Susan and Rosa Evangelina Arredondo as Margaret’s assistant Francey.

As reported by our sister site Deadline, Morris will recur as Judy, a gift shop clerk in Todd’s office building who has “unusual ideas about the world, and has her sights set on Todd.”

Since “graduating” from Fox’s Glee, where she played Brittany S. Pierce, in 2015, Morris’ TV credits have included I.R.L., Go-Go Boy Interrupted and The Troupe 🤷🏻‍♂️, Dancing With the Stars Season 24, and episodes of GLOW and Raven’s Home.

Deadline also reports that Sandra Bernhard (most recently of American Horror Story Season 11 and Pose) will guest-star in So Help Me Todd Season 2 as Belinda Tuttle, an unscrupulous, ambulance-chasing attorney.

So Help Me Todd kicks off its second season on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 9/8c. In that episode, “Iceland Was Horrible,” Margaret and Todd tackle a case involving a murder on live local morning news and must rethink their working relationship after Todd decides to open his own PI business. Lisa Rinna (American Horror Stories) guest-stars in the premiere as a beloved local morning talk show host who is also an old friend of Margaret’s.
