Rachael Harris Marries Christian Hebel – See the Photos

Musician Christian Hebel’s proposal to actress Rachael Harris was perfectly romantic.

He popped the question in Capri, Italy, after the couple attended the wedding of pals Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka.

About eight months later, they said “I do” in a more low-key – but every bit as special – way, eloping with a small ceremony at New York’s City Hall, their rep tells PEOPLE.

Harris, Burtka and Kelly Ripa served as witnesses. After exchanging vows, the newlyweds took the subway for lunch at Gramercy Tavern.

“It was a beautiful, sunny spring day!” the rep says.

Harris, 47, next appears opposite Ed Westwick and Vanessa Hudgens in the horror/comedy Kitchen Sink.
