Whether you're working through the Minecraft achievements or not, it could be worth logging into the game over the next 15 days — and not just because it's one of the best Game Pass games. This month marks the game's 15th Birthday, and Mojang is celebrating with 15 days of Minecraft 15th anniversary freebies for the Character Creator.

Starting today, Mojang is giving away free Character Creator items to every player who logs into the game each day over the next 15 days. The items are designed to celebrate each year Minecraft has been wowing us with its blocky creations, so there could be some real treats hidden away in the goodies.

"15 days of Minecraft means 15 new items! From May 15th - May 29th get a new free Character Creator item representing a different year of Minecraft history," Mojang said on X. "Want to know what the items are? Log in every day to collect the full set and check out our Instagram stories where each item will be announced."

Alongside the free items, Mojang will also be offering a host of discounts, surprises, and deals as it celebrates "15 days of Minecraft Mayhem."

We shouldn't be too far out from Minecraft's next big content update, Update 1.21 Tricky Trials, which is expected to arrive "midway" through 2024, and adds a new mob, a trial chamber, and more.
